OUNCE Studio

台裔美籍插畫藝術家王意馨 (Leslie Wang) 畢業於美國環境平面設計碩士。對於美食與藝術的熱情,透過多種媒介專注於飲食主題的插畫設計與藝術創作。

2014 年遠赴玻利維亞的 Gustu 餐廳實習擔任視覺藝術設計師,並完成碩士研究論文 《結合飲食教育於餐飲場域的環境平面設計》。2015 年,於葡萄牙里斯本創《 玩食誌 OUNCE Magazine 》美食畫刊,後繼前往不同國家累積製作13 期城市畫刊,此系列獨立刊物於2017年獲西班牙《世界美術家圖書獎》「最佳設計」及「最佳飲食刊物」雙獎項肯定。並於旅居歐洲期間受邀至許多國際知名餐廳用餐、作畫,藏家包含世界50最佳餐廳、及米其林大廚。2016 年,Leslie 王意馨 回到台灣創立 OUNCE studio 玩食插畫工作室,提供餐飲相關插畫藝術和平面設計服務。 客戶包含小吃店、咖啡館、酒吧、飯店、品牌,以及各類跨界藝術合作。

身為 OUNCE studio 的創辦人,Leslie Wang 致力於以飲食文化為靈感的藝術創作、藉由辦展覽、開工作坊,將味覺的感動形象化,期望藉藝術延伸至飲食教育目的。


Leslie Wang is a Taiwanese illustration‭ ‬artist and graduate of MA‭ ‬Environmental Graphic Design in USA‭. ‬With a passion for gastronomy and art, ‬she focuses on food illustration art through multiple‭ ‬mediums‭. ‬After working experience at fine dining Gustu restaurant as a graphic art designer in Bolivia, she finished her graduate research thesis Environmental Graphics of food education in Dining Environments.

In 2015, when Leslie traveled in Portugal, she created "OUNCE Magazine". This series of works won the double awards of "Best Design" and "Best Food Magazine" in World Gourmand Cook Book Award. During her time in Europe, Leslie was invited to dine and paint in many internationally renowned restaurants. Her art collectors include the world's 50 best restaurants and Michelin chefs. In 2016, Leslie founded ‬OUNCE studio‭ in Taiwan, ‬providing‭ ‬illustration art‭ & ‬graphic design services especially in the food industry. ‬Clients include cafes, bars, hotels, ‭brands, as well as cross border art collaborations.

As the founder of OUNCE studio, Leslie Wang is committed to artistic creation to promote food culture, through exhibitions and workshops, to visualize the sensation of taste, and to the purpose of food education.
